How are your candles sustainable?

Our coconut & colza wax is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, and synthetic additives.The colza used in our wax is harvested in Europe whilst most of the coconut used in our wax comes from small-hold farmers in the Philippines or Indonesia. There is no forest removal in order to plant new coconut trees and all farming contacts are closely monitored in that regard.

How are your candles natural and vegan?

Our coconut & rapeseed (canola) wax is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives. We only use 100% essential oils that do not contain any synthetic fragrance oils or boosters.

There are no animal by-products in the materials we use to make our candles, they are cruelty-free as there is no testing done on animals. Even the glue in the adhesive we use to hold the wick in place is vegan!

Where are your candles made?

All candles are hand-poured in our studio in Haarlem, The Netherlands, in small batches to ensure a high-quality final product.

What makes shō-moon candles different?

Each candle includes a QR code linking to an exclusive guided Reiki-infused meditation as well as 3 affirmations (on the box) to further your practice.

Each element of our candles has been conscientiously curated; our Italian glass jars, with their minimalistic design, are both timeless and suitable for any interior.

We only use natural and vegan ingredients, combining pure essential oils with coconut & colza wax to give you the cleanest burn. Each pure essential oils blend has been carefully selected to support your meditation.

All candles are hand-poured in our studio in Haarlem, The Netherlands, in small batches to ensure a high-quality final product.

How do I access the reiki-infused meditation?

Under the lid of your candle, you will find a QR code. Simply scan the code with your phone to access the meditation, you will first be asked to choose your language and will then be redirected to the meditation.

In which language is the reiki-infused meditation available in?

The meditations are available in English, Dutch, and French.

We aim to dispatch all orders on the same working day if ordered before 4 pm (CET).

In which country do you deliver?

We currently offer delivery to all of the EU.
