    How to refill your candle

    Step 1: Clean your old jar

    Gently pour warm water in the empty candle jar to melt any residual wax, then use a paper towel to clean the inside. Do not use boiling water as this may damage the jar.

    Step 2: Check the glass jar

    Before placing inside, check the jar for any cracks. Don't use it if you see any visible damage.

    Step 3: Place the refill inside

    Simply place the refill directly into the jar and light it. Now, sit back and enjoy!

    Safety & Candle Care

    Our candle refills are specifically designed for use with shō-moon 220g candle jars. Keep in mind, if you use our refill with other candle jars, we cannot guarantee the fit and burn quality. 

    Please ensure that you place these candle refills into a glass container before lighting them, failure to do so may cause injury or fire. 

    • Before using the refills, always check the glass for any cracks. Never reuse a glass that may have been dropped or damaged.
    • To avoid tunnelling, allow your candle to burn until the pool of wax reaches the edge of the candle.
    • To have a brighter and cleaner burn, trim the wick to 6 mm before each time you light your candle.
    • To stop the wick from mushrooming, avoid burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
